At 1,463 metres, Mont d'Or is the highest point in the Métabief ski area. Its rocky, steep slopes offer panoramic views of the Alps and the Swiss plain. From Métabief, Mont d'Or can be reached by the six-seater Morond chairlift, followed by a 6-kilometre circular trail along the ridge.

Culture
The parish church of Saint-Sylvestre in Longevilles-Mont-d'Or was consecrated in 1868. It has two side altars and two altarpieces.

During the holidays, the Ferme du Mont d'Or offers farm tours with mandatory reservations. The Ferme du Mont d'Or shop sells products from its own farm, as well as regional and local products from other producers.
Fromagerie Arnaud produces Mont-d'Or cheese from the Jura Mountains. It is an artisanal business founded in 1921.
