Nová Ves V Horách: Hotels and Accommodation
Well-maintained cross-country skiing trails are among the local leisure activities in Nová Ves v Horách. In addition, several designated paths lead through the village and its more closely described surroundings: the Přeshraniční turistická stezka Nová Ves–Deutschneudorf is a cross-border hiking and tourist trail. The “Cyklotrasa: Nová Ves v Horách – zámek Jezeří” route is also suitable for pedestrians, while the Cyklostezka Nová Ves–Mníšek provides a local cycling route. From Nová Ves v Horách–Mikulovice, a red-marked, asphalted path also leads gently uphill to the junction of marked trails at Dřevařský rybník.
Winter and Trails
Another cross-border experiential and educational trail is called “Dvě země – jeden region”. It includes 22 stations, more than 30 information boards, and more than 20 play and knowledge elements, and is classified as moderately difficult. After 12 km, the trail ends in Lesná at Horský hotel Lesná.
Culture and History
The Novoveské muzeum displays preserved exhibits depicting life in the village’s houses, as well as a school from an earlier period. The museum also includes wooden toys, whose local production began in the second half of the 18th century.
An important cultural monument in Nová Ves v Horách is the late Baroque Church of St. Michael the Archangel, together with the adjacent rectory from the second half of the 18th century. The church building was newly constructed between 1780 and 1784 and consecrated on 19 September 1784.

The Jeřabina lookout tower was reconstructed and reopened to the public on 28 June 2009. In the Lesná section of the route between Lesná and Český Jiřetín are the Krušnohorský lidový dům folk museum and the Chapel of St. Anthony.
The Lesenská pláň Tourist Information Centre puts together group programmes and arranges guided tours. The municipality’s visitor information includes timetables for bus services to Nová Ves v Horách.
