Rozhraní lies in the Svitava Valley. A cycle path runs through the village. The area's natural features include the Opukové jeskyně Cave and a protected European beech designated as a memorial tree.

Nature and Landscape

The Opukové jeskyně Cave is 400 metres long and inaccessible. It lies on the left slope of the valley of a stream flowing from Študlov, above the former municipality and settlement of Bradlné.

The protected European beech designated as a memorial tree has a trunk circumference of 555 centimetres and is 30 metres tall; its age is estimated at 300 years.

Culture

The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was built in 1790 in the then-independent municipality of Bradlné. It stands on a low hill above a small pond and features characteristic Neo-Romanesque articulation of the exterior.

History

Rozhraní has always been situated on the border between the administrative regions of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as on the border between the dioceses of Hradec Králové, Olomouc and Brno. Following the events of Munich in 1938, the border between the reduced Czechoslovak Republic and the Sudetenland ran through Rozhraní.

In Rozhraní, the memorial to fallen local citizens was restored and moved to a new park after 86 years.
