Landscape and Trails
The Rohles Forest connects the two parts of Chrastavec. A cycle path runs through the entire village of Chrastavec. In the surrounding area, approximately 3 km away, a red bridleway also leads from Vítějeves via Svojanov Castle towards Polička.
Culture and History
The Church of the Most Holy Trinity is a prominent landmark of Chrastavec and was built in 1864. It was completely renovated at the expense of the municipality and with the active support of parish members. Next to the church is a memorial plaque created in 2008 for Professor MUDr. Josef Janků, a native of Chrastavec and head of the Eye Clinic at Charles University’s Faculty of Medicine in Prague.
The Löw-Beer Villa in Chrastavec is designated as a cultural monument. The Löw-Beer Villa in Půlpecen was built between 1911 and 1913.
The Oldřich Chrastavský Fortress was part of the defense of the Bohemian lands against enemy incursions. An information board marks the approximate location of the former fortress in Chrastavec.
