The entire municipal area of Hartmanice lies within the Údolí Křetínky Nature Park. The stream that forms the village axis of Hartmanice rises near Štěrbův kopec and flows into the Zlatý potok at the municipality of Hamry.

The Kočíko mountain lies in the immediate vicinity of Hartmanice. The Librův Kopec and Drašarov mountains are located around Hartmanice, while Kuliška lies in the wider regional area.

Landscape and Culture

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk is a Baroque building on a long, extended ridge between majestic lime trees; it was consecrated in 1708. The grave of Countess Arnoštka z Langetu, the owner of the Bystré estate, is located by the chapel.

The history of Hartmanice is connected with Svojanov Castle and the municipality of Bystré. The ridge by the chapel offers magnificent views of the Valburčina Valley and the château in Bystré.

Easy hiking is available as a leisure activity in Hartmanice. From Hartmanice, trips to Svojanov and Bystré are possible.

On the hiking route from Nyklovice to Bystré via Svojanov, one section heads towards Hartmanice through the forest and uphill; Bystré can be reached on foot after two kilometres.
