Culture and history
The Chapel of Saint Christopher is located in the immediate vicinity of the Paprsek mountain hotel, which lies at the transition between Hrubý Jeseník, Rychlebské hory and Králický Sněžník. It was built in 2009 next to the Paprsek mountain hotel as a replacement for a chapel demolished in Velké Vrbno and consecrated on September 26, 2009, together with a bell dating from 1925 from the submerged settlement of Grund Messinghammer. The Paprsek mountain hut was built in 1932 in the cadastral area of Velké Vrbno and was originally named “Slezský Dům” (Silesian House).
