Bohdíkov: Hotels and accommodations
Accommodation in Bohdíkov
For putting a winter stay into context, Bohdíkov is primarily characterized by natural and cultural areas. The character of the town is shaped by protected landscapes, historic buildings, and distinctive underground habitats.
Nature
The Na Hadci protected area covers 56 ha and is located above Raškov. It is home to relict pine stands on serpentine rock outcrops, surrounded by fir-beech forests and maple-beech forests. As a nature reserve, Na Hadci also protects communities on serpentine rocks, fragments of pine and beech forests, and characteristic weathering formations.
Another distinctive natural area is Štola Mařka, located on the grounds of the abandoned Exler quarry in Bohdíkov. In the Šumperk District, it is the largest wintering site for rare bat species. Štola Mařka is accessible from the entrance for a length of 320 m.
Culture
The Church of St. Peter and Paul, “Kostel sv. Petra a Pavla,” is part of the townscape. It was built as a Baroque church in 1725 and is registered as an immovable cultural monument. At the same time, it is a landmark visible from a distance, with a semicircular termination and a square tower.
The Tvrz – house no. 55 was declared a state cultural monument in 2000. It is Bohdíkov’s oldest building and preserves a Renaissance core dating from the second half of the 16th century.
On site
Access to the railway station building or the Bohdíkov railway stop, including the passenger shelter, is barrier-free. In addition, a new information stand with a detailed map of the Moravská stezka and the surrounding area of Bohdíkov is being prepared in Bohdíkov.
