Hanušovice combines distinctive religious buildings with regional brewing history and designated routes on the water and by bicycle.

Culture and history

The Church of St. Nicholas, “Farní kostel sv. Mikuláše”, has a late Renaissance core dating from 1656 and two side chapels. In 1783, it was redesigned in the Baroque style. The site also includes a Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1748.

Another historical feature is the building known as “bývalá rychta”, the former courthouse. It has two stone cellars arranged one behind the other, with barrel vaults. The Chapel of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary has a hexagonal turret with a lantern, onion dome, and finial.

Information and brewing culture

The Hanušovice Tourist Information Centre provides information about cultural monuments, natural attractions, and rail and road routes in the Czech Republic. Trekking poles are also rented there, and bicycle service facilities are available.

The local offering includes the Pivovarské muzeum Hanušovice, which is fully accessible. Visitors can book a brewery tour at Pivovar Holba.
