Všelibice lies in the valley of the Malá Mohelka. The municipality covers a total of 785 hectares and forms a gently hilly landscape with mixed forests. In the sparsely settled area, large pastures and meadows alternate with extensive forest complexes.
History and Architectural Heritage
Všelibice is first mentioned in 1419. In the centre of Budíkov, in front of house no. 34, stands the Holy Trinity sculptural group Sousoší Nejsvětější Trojice. It was created in 1865 by the stonemason Matěj Beran.
The atonement cross of Všelibice is a roughly hewn sandstone cross and is probably not in its original location.
The farmstead in Benešovice dates from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It consists of a house with its gable facing the village square, a gate, a two-storey granary, a barn and the remains of another barn. The buildings of the farmstead were extensively remodelled after the mid-19th century.
Routes
Cycle route T3048 runs through the municipality of Všelibice. At the southwestern edge of the municipality, a blue-marked hiking trail leads through Čertova zeď, Hlavice and Mohelnice nad Jizerou.
Geographical Setting
Ještěd, Rozsocha, Velká Buková and Malá Buková are mountains in the wider regional surroundings of Všelibice. Also located in this wider regional area are Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice and Valdštejn, both churches, as well as Starý Berštejn, which is a ruin.
