In the municipality of Šimonovice stands the Rašovka observation tower on the edge of the settlement of Rašovka on the Ještěd Ridge. Rašovka is a district of the municipality of Šimonovice. The tower is the first privately built masonry observation tower in the modern history of the Czech Republic and is 22.5 metres high. The Rašovka observation tower and the associated restaurant were opened on 10 June 2006 on the occasion of the Svatoantonínská pilgrimage.

The Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua is a historicist, longitudinal, single-nave sacred building oriented from north to south, with a prismatic tower on the south side.
The chapel in the Minkovice district of the municipality of Šimonovice was consecrated and dedicated to the Divine Mercy on 3 April 2016.

Events
ŠIMIFEST is a traditional music festival of the municipality of Šimonovice. At ŠIMIFEST 2026 on 22 August 2026, there will be live music by regional bands, tastings of regional beers, and sweet and savoury refreshments.
