Oldřichov v Hájích lies in the foothills of the Jizera Mountains between the Hejnický hřbet and the Oldřichovský hřbet. The Jizerskohorské bučiny National Nature Reserve is located in the municipality’s surroundings and has been on the UNESCO list since 2021.

Nature
The Oldřichovské bučiny educational trail is 1.3 km long and has 18 stops with interactive elements. It leads from Oldřichovské sedlo via the Gorila and Lysé skály rock formations to the Skalní hrad viewpoint. The Včelí educational trail also starts on the grounds of the Ekocentre in Oldřichov v Hájích.
The Viničná cesta runs along a contour line through deciduous forests on the steep, rocky northern slopes of the Jizera Mountains. It begins at the Oldřichov v Hájích railway stop and ends in Hejnice.
Visitor Centre
Oldřichov v Hájích is home to Dům přírody Jizerských hor, the visitor centre of the Jizerské hory Protected Landscape Area. It houses the natural science exhibition “Jizerky všemi smysly” in a former half-timbered agricultural settlement.
History and Architectural Heritage
The Clam-Gallasovská game reserve was built in the mid-19th century and covered an area of 5,500 hectares. Stone posts and deer jumps have been preserved. Oldřichov v Hájích is also home to traditional cottages of the so-called Upper Lusatian house type, including houses No. 5 and No. 330 in Filipka.
