Nature
Mariánská hora is a mountain in the vicinity of Josefův Důl. Černá hora, Královka, and Jizera are mountains in the area around Josefův Důl.
Čertovy kameny is a viewpoint in the Peklo district of Josefův Důl overlooking the reservoir and the Kamenice Valley. The three-tiered waterfalls on the Jedlová descend more than 12 meters.
Culture
At Glass Pesničák in Josefův Důl, visitors can see traditional glass cutting, including cut perfume bottles of the kind produced at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. Original techniques are used.
The local history museum was established in 2010 and is located in a former school building in Josefův Důl. The J. K. Tyla theater group stages its own productions and guest performances several times a year and organizes the “Josefodolské divadelní jaro” festival for rural theater groups every year.
The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Josefův Důl hosts organ concerts, Christmas concerts, and classical music concerts. After completing the Čertí stezka trail, visitors receive a reward at the information center if they have completed the crossword correctly and presented all the stamps collected along the way.
