Držkov is associated with summer and winter tourism. The landscape stretches from the Černostudniční Ridge west of the village to the Kamenice Valley in the east. Držkov also offers views of the Krkonoše Mountains.

The Černostudniční Ridge rises west of Držkov. The eastern part of Držkov slopes down into the Kamenice Valley.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint Bartholomew is a Neo-Gothic landmark dating from 1860. It was built in 1669 and rebuilt in its current form in the mid-19th century. The church is protected as a cultural monument. Its organ has largely been preserved in its original condition, dates from 1863, and was made by Josef Prediger from Albrechtice.

The Chapel of the Holy Trinity stands in the upper part of Držkov. The monument to the 1870 Svárov strike in Držkov stands at the site of the graves of the strike victims and dates from the second half of the 19th century.

Crafts and Local Products

A glassmaking tradition developed in Držkov, producing beads, rings, decorative glass, and engraved glass. Among its products, the Jan Mašek bakery highlights genuine sourdough bread and its well-known butter Christmas braids.

The K mokřadu Zásada educational trail begins in Držkov at the Chapel of the Holy Trinity south of the village.
