Routes
The marked ascent to Končiny leads from Jablonec nad Jizerou via the red hiking trail, approximately 2 km uphill. The route to the viewpoint on Stráž and back is just under 2 km long. About 1 km after the trail junction, the route passes the Stráž mountain hotel, which was built in 1933 by Vinohradský Sokol.
Nature
Stráž is a rocky spur at an altitude of 778 metres above sea level. In favourable weather, Stráž offers views of the Jizera Mountains, Paseky, Rokytnice nad Jizerou, Lysá hora (1,344 m), Kotel (1,455 m) and Zlaté návrší (1,411 m).
Viewpoint
The Hlídka na Stráži viewpoint area comprises lightweight structures made of wood and steel. Hlídka na Stráži consists of four viewpoints symbolising the four cartridges from the coat of arms of Rokytnice. The viewpoints at Stráž are part of a forest park with shaded seating.
Culture
The archaeological site “Horní Rokytnice, Dolní Rokytnice and Končiny” belongs to category ÚAN I. There is a crucifix in Končiny.
