Culture and History

The Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist was built in 1727–1729 as a single-nave structure with a tower on the western façade by the builder Jan Kumper from Hradec Králové. It is an oriented, single-nave, plastered masonry building with a rectangular nave, a three-sided closed presbytery and a four-storey square tower in front of the western façade.

The ruins of Pěčín Castle are classified as a significant archaeological site. Gorzanów - Pałac is a castle in the wider regional surroundings of Pěčín.
