Above the settlement of Ládví, the Rozhledna Ládví observation tower was built in 2011 on the 488-metre-high summit of Vlková.

Views and Trails

The Rozhledna Ládví observation tower can be reached by car, bicycle and on foot via the blue-marked hiking trail from Ládví. It is 45 metres high; its observation platform is 25 metres above the ground and can be reached via 150 steps.

Cycle route 0029 runs from Strančice via Velké Popovice and Kamenice to Nová Grybla. It follows surfaced forest roads, local roads and roads with little traffic.

Culture and History

The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk in Ládví is listed as an immovable cultural monument under catalogue number 06244. The memorial to those who fell in the First World War in Kamenice-Ládví stands in a small park on the main road. The chapel in Ládví is listed as an object of heritage conservation interest.

From 1945 to 1947, the initiative “Castles to Save Jewish Children from Concentration Camps and Later German Children from Czech Internment Camps” was carried out; later, Penzion Bellevue in Ládví also participated. A total of 810 children passed through these facilities.
