Culture
The parish Church of St. Gall in Střezimíř is a Gothic building documented in writing since 1352. Its Gothic structure dates from the 14th century and was modified in the 17th century. The presbytery features a particularly striking vault with numerous branching ribs; three Gothic windows illuminate the space.
The hilltop with the Chapel of St. Adalbert offers expansive views in all directions, especially to the south. The chapel has been newly renovated and contains an illusionistic altar.
Events
Every year, Střezimíř is one of the most sought-after starting points for the legendary Praha–Prčice march. Svatohavelské posvícení is considered a celebration of the anniversary of the consecration of the church dedicated to St. Gall.
