Llavorsí – Nature, Rafting and Culture
Accommodation in Llavorsí
Water and Trails
The 14-kilometre rafting section on the Noguera Pallaresa connects Llavorsí and Rialp. Rafting on the Noguera Pallaresa involves white-water descents in an inflatable boat for up to eight people. The route length and boat capacity provide two different key figures for assessing the offer.
The horse-riding offer from Rafting Llavorsí includes one- or two-hour rides. The adventure park of Rafting Llavorsí offers zip lines, a climbing wall and Tibetan bridges. This brings together different time formats and various types of movement: water, horse riding and climbing elements.

The circular hike “Volta als camps d’Arnui” from Llavorsí follows the old path that connected Llavorsí with the bordes of Arnui. The hike complements the activities mentioned above with a historic route and its own format for exploring the landscape.

Culture
The apse and crypt are preserved from the Romanesque construction phase of the church of Sant Serni de Baiasca. Guided visits to the Romanesque church of Sant Serni de Baiasca are organised on Sunday mornings and Thursday afternoons by prior reservation. Both time slots and the prior reservation are therefore essential for the visit.
The Aplec de Biuse takes place on the second weekend of May. After the mass, all participants in the Aplec de Biuse receive a quarter-kilogram loaf of bread. At the Aplec de Biuse, pilgrims prepare their lunch in the meadows or bring it from home for the occasion.
The Festa Major de Llavorsí is celebrated on 26 July in honour of the patron saint Santa Anna, with activities and dances for all age groups. The Pirineu Pastor festival in Llavorsí pays tribute to shepherding culture, extensive livestock farming and the important role of shepherds in preserving the Pyrenean landscapes.
At the Concurs de Gossos d’Atura, the best Catalan sheepdogs gather on the Sunday of the third weekend in August at Prat de la Coma.
