Landscape
The source of the Ribnica River can be reached via a family-friendly forest path. On the Mala gora ridge stands the 16th-century Church of St Anne at an altitude of 920 metres. A striking geological feature is Bele stene, an almost 60-metre-high limestone cliff designated as a natural monument.
Above the village of Vrh pri Poljanah lies the 887-metre-high Grmada hill, considered a popular hiking destination. A mountain hut that is open on weekends is located a few metres below the summit; the path there leads via the Trail to Grmada. In the Ribnica area, the Ribnica Fishing Club manages six fishing waters.
