Malachov: Medvedica Ski Centre, Educational Trails and Culture

At the end of Malachov, you will find the modernised Medvedica Ski Centre. The centre includes a snack bar, artificial snowmaking and five lifts. This gives Malachov a specifically identified winter sports offering alongside the area's natural and cultural features.

Between Malachov and the Ortúty settlement, the Malachovský potok stream has carved a 200-metre-long gorge with 15-metre-high rock slopes through deep erosion in andesite.
