Winter and landscape

During the winter season, a ski lift operates in the upper part of Bustryk. Bustryk is located on the slope of a side ridge of the Spisko-Gubałowskie Foothills at an altitude of 860–970 metres. The village offers panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains and Babia Góra.

Trails and cultural heritage

The Papal Trail passes through the upper part of Bustryk and commemorates Pope John Paul II’s pilgrimage to Podhale in 1997. Bustryk has preserved living pastoral traditions and historic roadside chapels.

Hiking and pilgrimages

Bustryk is considered a hiking area; a green tourist trail leads through the village towards Zakopane. Every year, a Sursum Corda pilgrimage on foot and a firefighters’ pilgrimage take place along the Papal Trail.
