Churches, Monastery and Historic Trails in Campese

Campese is home to the Church of Santa Croce, the monastery and the tomb of Teofilo Folengo (1491–1544). The tomb is located in a chapel to the left of the presbytery of the Church of Santa Croce.

Both Sentiero CAI 762 and Sentiero CAI 763 lead from Campese to Monte Caina.

Sentiero CAI 762 reaches the summit of Monte Caina. At the summit of Monte Caina there is a war memorial and a statue of Our Lady of Fatima.

Sentiero CAI 763 begins in Campese and leads to Monte Caina. For personal day planning on site, Sentiero CAI 763 can be scheduled as a hike lasting several hours, with its own time block in the day's itinerary; the walking time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the difficulty is rated E.

The Alta Via del Tabacco is an ethnonaturalist hiking trail connecting Campese, Campolongo and Valstagna. From Contrada Castelvecchio, trails lead to the Montagna Campesana and Caina, as well as along the meadows to the village of San Martino and the Rea springs.
