The Darscheider Drees is considered the most iron-rich spring in the Vulkaneifel; its iron concentration is 46 milligrams per liter. The Drees is a weakly mineralized acidic spring with an extremely high iron content. From the Daun exit of the A1, you can reach the spring via the L91 toward Darscheid; parking is available behind the sports field.
