Meuspath: Hotels and Accommodation

Meuspath is home to the access road to the Nordschleife on In der Stroth street. The circuit lies in the heart of the Eifel region, is 20.8 kilometres long, has 73 bends and a difference in elevation of 300 metres. The Nordschleife was completed in 1927.

Culture

A cross dating from 1772 stands on the main road. The Krebsbacher Hof estate includes a Baroque chapel dating from 1702 and a moat. South of Meuspath on the K 20, the Krebsbacher Hof is listed as a group of historic buildings; it includes a solid-built structure that probably dates from the 16th century.

History

Meuspath and the associated Krebsbacher Hof have a distinct local history that is closely linked to Nürburg. The place name is traditionally derived from “Muspach” and interpreted as a designation for a settlement on a marsh stream.
