Les Karellis is situated amid a larch forest and borders Lac de Pramol; a hike there begins at the tourist office and follows signposted trail no. 5. The Gros Mélèze above Albannette on the way to Pain de Sucre is over 500 years old and is considered Europe's largest larch tree.
