In the La Villette district of La Ravoire stands the Chapelle Camille Costa de Beauregard, a rural religious building dating from the 17th century. The chapel was part of a large agricultural estate with a manor house, gardens, meadows, fields, woods and a pond. Camille Costa de Beauregard converted this estate into a teaching farm for the apprentices of Bocage de Chambéry.
The Espace Culturel Jean Blanc opened in February 1995. Its programme includes music, singing, dance, theatre and comedy. The programme also includes conferences and exhibitions organised by the Connaissance de La Ravoire group as part of the municipality’s cultural programme. The Espace Culturel Jean Blanc has a flexible auditorium with a 380-seat configuration.

Nature
The Bois des Chassettes area extends across the municipalities of Challes-les-Eaux and La Ravoire. In the same landscape lies the Marais des Chassettes, which covers 22 hectares at the foot of the Massif des Bauges.
Every year in the Bois des Chassettes, actors, musicians, dancers and a photographer work together with naturalists to artistically highlight the biodiversity of this wet woodland.
Events
The Fête de la Saint-Jean is a tradition that La Ravoire has continued for many years. It includes fire shows, entertainment and a fireworks display. Kilomètre Zéro is a week-long series of events featuring entertainment, performances and exhibitions that showcases La Ravoire and its talents. The Fête de la Rentrée offers numerous sporting, recreational and creative activities.
History and Trails
The street names of La Ravoire preserve references to former hamlets and vineyards. Earlier paths were widened through use and reinforced with stones for carts; most of today’s roads were built on this network of paths.
The Randonnée des Diots held in 2025 was the 43rd edition of the event. The Randonnée des Diots features a festive meal of braised diots sausages and polenta.
