Culture and History
The Eglise de Crest-Voland features neo-Gothic architecture, stained-glass windows installed in 1913, white Carrara marble altars, and a carillon with ten bells. The church was built between 1863 and 1866 on the site of a predecessor building dating from the 16th century.
The Moulin Ainoz was both a mill and the headquarters of a thriving manufactory producing wooden handles, and is a living testament to the history of Crest-Voland Cohennoz. The heirs of Moulin Ainoz restored the historic mill to make it accessible to the public.
