Chapels and Sacred Art
The Chapelle de Vauvray was built in 1857 and dedicated to Notre Dame des Anges. It contains eight colorful trompe-l’œil frescoes depicting the life of Jesus and Mary, and features a listed Stations of the Cross.
The Chapelle du Petit-Bois was built in 1715 and dedicated to Saint Sébastien, Saint Symphorien and Saint François-Xavier. Its choir has four ribbed, vaulted columns and a marble altar with a crowned statue of the Virgin Mary.
The Chapelle des Crêtets was built in 1740 and dedicated to the Virgin Mary of the Assumption.
The Chapelle des Choseaux was built in 1700 on the ruins of an older chapel. It contains a large fresco painted on canvas depicting the Assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven.
