Culture and Art
The Centre du graphisme was established as a continuation of the Mois du graphisme, whose first edition was held in spring 1990. The Centre du graphisme presents its exhibitions in the three buildings of the Le TRACé facility. Le TRACé’s artistic programme covers graphic design, contemporary and modern art, industrial heritage, and the history of the working class.
The Musée du Petit Drac is housed in the remains of a former farm of the same name. It presents 150 objects, mostly agricultural tools, documenting rural life between 1900 and 1950.
Parks and Nature
The Parc Maurice-Thorez has three signposted orienteering courses. The Frange Verte offers a particularly green walking route through Échirolles along its paths.
The Parc des Templiers includes a 250 m² pond with a secured wooden bridge. It is connected to a one-kilometre-long ecological corridor leading towards Parc Robert-Buisson.
The Parc Croix-de-Vérines provides an additional 23,000 m² of green space in Échirolles. The Stade nautique d’Échirolles offers swimming, aqua aerobics, water polo, triathlon, adaptive sports and diving.

Échirolles’ municipal Documentation-Archives service holds around 2 kilometres of archival records relating to the city’s nearly 200-year history, its municipal services and its various administrations. The Échirolles municipal archives are freely accessible to everyone by prior appointment.
