For travellers wishing to find and book a hotel in Passy, accommodation is an integral part of planning the trip.

Mountain Landscapes and Trails

The Tour des Fiz starts in Passy Mont-Blanc and can be completed in two to four days, depending on the route. Lac Vert can be reached from the Plaine-Joux car park via an easy walk of around 30 minutes.

Lac Vert is a glacial lake at an altitude of 1,200 metres, with emerald-green shimmering water and the status of a classified nature area.

In summer, Passy Plaine-Joux is a starting point for hikes, mountain bike tours and paragliding flights.

Around one hour should be allowed for a visit to the Jardin des Cimes; the tour covers three hectares and includes around twenty areas combining art, nature and gardens.

Nature

The Réserve Naturelle de Passy nature reserve covers 1,720 hectares in Passy and ranges from an altitude of 1,347 to 2,901 metres.

The geological contrast between calcareous and siliceous rocks results in a great diversity of habitats in the Réserve Naturelle de Passy, including meadows, heathlands and wetlands.

Art and Culture

The Église Notre-Dame-de-Toute-Grâce was fully classified as a historic monument by decree of 11 June 2004. Its construction began in 1937 and was completed in 1946. Its interior and exterior design form a museum of modern art, with works by, among others, Fernand Léger, Georges Braque and Henri Matisse.

The former sanatoriums of Plateau d’Assy were built between the 1920s and 1930s and are considered remarkable cultural heritage worth discovering. Several paths make it possible to approach the former sanatorium buildings while enjoying views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding valley.

The Route de la Sculpture Contemporaine currently includes 19 sculptures. The Route de la Sculpture à Passy is presented as an open-air museum. A viewing point offers a view of the Cascade de Cœur.

Water

The Base de Loisirs du Lac de Passy stretches for more than one kilometre and covers an area of 50 hectares. It offers paddleboarding and pedal boating, as well as the Aquapark du Mont-Blanc with floating inflatable play structures.
