Ramonchamp: Hotels and Accommodation

Ramonchamp is the starting point for the moderately difficult Randonnée de l'Étang Noir, an 11-kilometre hike with 336 metres of elevation gain and a stated duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes. The route begins and ends in Ramonchamp, crosses a wooden bridge at the Noir Étang waterfall and then reaches the Étang Noir. At the end of the pond there is a viewpoint above the waterfall; there is also a picnic table there.

Nature

The Circuit poussette de Ramonchamp is a 3.2-kilometre circular route with a duration of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, beginning at the town hall. It leads to and makes use of the Voie Verte des Hautes Vosges. The freely accessible route is used for hiking, cycling, roller sports and roller skiing. The circular route also provides an opportunity to discover the village of Ramonchamp and the banks of the Moselle.

The Circuit de la Roche Jolie is an easy, family-friendly circular walk covering 5.4 kilometres, with 110 metres of elevation gain and a stated duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. It leads to an orientation board, an arboretum and the La Maix playground.

The signposted Itinéraire VTT n° 1 – Col de Morbieux is designated for mountain bikers. The route begins at the Ramonchamp town hall, has a red difficulty rating and covers 16 kilometres with 550 metres of elevation gain. From Roche Jolie, Chalet de Salmon and Bénapré, it offers views of Ramonchamp. It then leads through forests near the Col de Morbieux, where rest chalets are located.

The Ferme du Dahu Barbu is located in Ramonchamp in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. By arrangement, the farm offers tours as well as tastings of farm products.

Culture

The Église Saint-Rémy-et-Saint-Blaise de Ramonchamp was built in 1684. In 1732, it received an organ through a donation from Abbé Georges d'Ogeron. It also contains a painting by Lecomte from 1950 commemorating the First World War.

The Chapelle des Breucheux is dedicated to Notre-Dame du Bon Conseil. It was built in 1957 by the children of Ramonchamp in memory of comrades who became victims of the war. From the town centre, the chapel can be reached by car or on foot via a path marked with blue diamonds.
