Ban-De-Laveline: Hotels and Accommodation

Two circular trails with different levels of difficulty start and end in Ban-de-Laveline: the “Circuit pédestre - Pique-Nique à Sorémont” is moderately difficult and covers 10.5 km. The easy “Circuit de la Tête des Roses” covers 5.3 km and also starts and ends in Ban-de-Laveline.

Nature

Roc du Haut de Faîte, a mountain, is located in the immediate vicinity of Ban-de-Laveline. The mountains Chaume de Lusse, Le Rossberg and Le Petit Brézouard are also located near the village.

The “Les Petits Ordons” hiking trail reaches its highest point at Carrefour des Petits Ordons, at an altitude of 965 metres. The “Circuit VTT - Plateau de Sorémont” circular mountain bike trail can be explored by mountain bike. It leads to the fitness trail and onto the Plateau de Sorémont, which offers a panorama of the valley and a large part of the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges basin.

The mountain bike trail also passes through Québrux, the hamlet considered the oldest in the village and characterised by typical adjoining Vosges farmhouses.

Culture

The current church of Ban-de-Laveline is a Neo-Gothic building consecrated at the beginning of the 20th century. Église Saint-Nicolas, a church, is located in the immediate vicinity of the village.

Several castles are located in the wider region around Ban-de-Laveline: Bilstein, Château de Saint-Ulrich and le Petit Hohnack.
