The access point to the Nordic ski slopes at La Darbella is located along the D25. The relatively easy slopes that begin there lead towards the Forêt du Massacre.

Winter
At the Site Nordique de Prémanon, visitors can enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, dog sled rides and Nordic ski touring.
The Espaces Libertés in the village of Prémanon are free, groomed areas open to pedestrians, snowshoers, cross-country skiers and sledders.
The Forêt du Massacre is considered a biotope zone; access is subject to certain conditions.
Trails
In the centre of Prémanon, two information boards provide details about hiking trails starting from the village. These include the Grande Traversée du Jura, which can be used on foot, by bicycle or mountain bike, on horseback, on skis or with snowshoes.
The Le Pont Perroud route is an 8.3 km circular trail. It starts and ends in the centre of Prémanon.
The Prémanon d'Amont hike begins at the Jardin des Randonneurs, passes through the village centre and then heads towards Prémanon d'Amont.
Nature
From the Passerelle, a short 400 m out-and-back route leads to the Cascade du Bief de la Chaille; the waterfall is a tufa waterfall.
The Sentier des Explorateurs was proposed by children from Prémanon's primary school during the 2018–2019 school year. It is intended as a hilly forest walk for families interested in nature. In the forest near the village, there are traces and signs of life in the air, on the ground and underground.
Culture
The Belvédère des Maquisards is dedicated to a significant event from the end of the Second World War and features an information board explaining this event.
The Espace des Mondes Polaires Paul-Émile Victor combines an ice rink or quad roller rink, a museum with unique collections, an auditorium and a polar garden.
