The Langouette Gorges form a 47-metre-deep canyon shaped by the Saine, featuring potholes, waterfalls and cascades. The gorges are also associated with legends and history.

The “Eaux vives, Eaux dormantes / Langouette” route is a difficult, 9.8-kilometre circular hike with a duration of 2.5 hours and is one of the routes of the Échappée Jurassienne. It follows the Saine past waterfalls, deep gorges and small lakes. Its themes also include the fact that water once powered mills, sawmills, forges and spectacle workshops in the area.
The Sentier des cascades et gorges de la Langouette features six information panels on water, geology and built heritage. Another route through Les Planches-en-Montagne is Entre Saine et Lemme. It connects the Morillon rocks, the Langouette Gorges and the Prés Grillet viewpoint.
La Montagne Ronde is an easy, 4.9-kilometre hiking route in Les Planches-en-Montagne. It starts and ends at Le Martinet in Les Planches-en-Montagne.
