Winter and exercise
The Promenade Horizontale was first laid out in 1842. It was part of a network of paths created for spa guests and holidaymakers between the 1840s and 1870s. The promenade passes through a forest with centuries-old trees and offers views of Aas, Assouste, and Laruns.
The ForĂŞt Suspendue is located in the ForĂŞt du Gourzy, an adventure park in a century-old beech forest. The site is a five-minute walk from the center of Eaux-Bonnes. It offers seven treetop courses, more than 70 aerial elements, and a 200-meter-long zip line.

Culture and local history
The Chapelle d’Assouste is a 12th-century chapel in Eaux-Bonnes and has been classified as a Monument historique since August 10, 1923. Its features include a semicircular, vaulted apse and a southern portal with sculpted capitals. The Jardin Darralde was laid out as an English garden in 1861.
The spa town of Eaux-Bonnes preserves architectural characteristics of the Second Empire. The reopening of the Eaux-Bonnes thermal center is scheduled for the end of April 2027, following an extended construction phase.
A distinctive cultural tradition is the whistled language developed by shepherds in Aas before 1850. It enabled communication over distances of up to 2.5 kilometers. Aas is considered the only shepherds’ village whose inhabitants practiced this whistled language; a commemorative plaque dedicated to them is located on a pillar of the church.
