Hojsova Stráž: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture

The information panels along the Hojsova Stráž educational trail also describe religious monuments. The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Hojsova Stráž was built in 1824–1826 on the site of a wooden chapel that had stood there since 1761.

The Šumava astronomical clock stands on the main road in the centre of Hojsova Stráž and is freely accessible at no charge. It is a five-metre-high wooden tower with several astronomical clock faces. The painting of Saint Cunegunda returned to the Chapel of Saint Cunegunda in Prenet after its restoration.
