Culture and Tradition
The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist in Bohuňovice is registered as an immovable cultural monument under registration number 28784/8-2626. The church is a Baroque sacred building dating from the second quarter of the 18th century, with an older core, and was extended by around 12 m. Its three former bells, which had been requisitioned for war purposes, were replaced with new ones in 1922.
The Matičky tradition takes place in Bohuňovice on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. As part of the tradition, girls take a cross from the church and carry it in a musical procession to their village. The following day, the Matičky procession returns the decorated cross to the church and ends with an Easter Mass, refreshments, and music.
The Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes in Bohuňovice stands on Pod Lipami Street and dates from 1883. Since 2013, the Memoriál Jana Jaroše has generally been held in May on the tennis courts in Bohuňovice.

The protected solitary tree Hromův dub is recorded in the cadastral area of Moravská Loděnice in the municipality of Bohuňovice. A height of 27 m and a trunk circumference of 600 cm are documented for Hromův dub (as of 15 June 2004).
