Culture and History
Near Jílové u Držkova are the ruins of Návarov Castle, situated on a rocky spur at the confluence of the Kamenice and the Zlatník stream. The castle was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The surviving remains include a rectangular core, two moats, and a curtain wall with two semicircular bastions.
Nature
A protected large-leaved linden tree is registered in Jílové u Držkova. Its trunk circumference at the specified height was 610 centimetres. The accessible Bozkov Dolomite Caves, which are designated a national nature monument, are also located nearby. They are situated approximately 3 kilometres southeast of Jílové u Držkova. The caves contain the largest underground lake in Bohemia.
