Nature
Above Markoušovice, in the direction of the Jestřebí Mountains, lies the protected natural area of Bledulové louky. In spring, snowdrop meadows can be observed there; araucarites, or petrified wood from trees, can also be seen in the surrounding area.
The Church of St. John the Baptist in Markoušovice is a Baroque building constructed between 1771 and 1787; its tower was added in 1884. The Usedlost čp. 1 estate is a rural building complex with a barn and stables and documents rural architecture from the end of the 16th century.
Culture
The cast-iron statue of Emperor Joseph II was originally made to commemorate the centenary of the abolition of serfdom. A colored statue of Emperor Joseph II can be seen on private property next to Holiday Cottage No. 95 in Markoušovice.

The 22.2-kilometer route has an elevation gain of 312 meters and a medium difficulty level and is suitable for mountain bikes, trekking bikes, and e-bikes.
The observation tower can be reached from Markoušovice via unmarked paths. Access is on foot or by mountain bike from Cycle Routes 4090 and 4091; only a forest path leads to the observation tower.
