Psáry: Hotels and Accommodations

The Church of Saint Wenceslas in Psáry is a cultural monument dating from the 12th century. The walled complex is located on the road between Psáry and Jesenice.

Nature and Trails

The first written record of Psáry dates from 1088. The first fortress of Psáry is associated with the estate of the Charles College. The second fortress of Psáry is first mentioned in a sales contract from 1573; it fell into disrepair during the Thirty Years' War and was not rebuilt afterward.

The local primary school dates from 1693. In Dolní Jirčany, the Svatováclavské posvícení is held as a traditional festival with stalls, parish-fair food, workshops, and entertainment for children. It includes a knights' tournament and a puppet theatre.

Bus route 334 connects Smíchovské nádraží railway station with Psáry and also runs in the opposite direction. Bus route 332 operates between Budějovická and Krhanice or Prosečnice and back.
