Nature

The Follatères feature dry, sunny paths with more than 200 Mediterranean or eastern plant species. The protected area covers 5 square kilometres and extends from an altitude of 450 to 1,800 metres. The landscape also includes the Portail de Fully, a natural arch formed by erosion in the dolomite rock.

Hiking

A guided walk through Fully’s wine-growing landscape leads through the terraced vineyards of Combe d’Enfer and the Plamont area and introduces the local flora and geology. The route crosses a marshy plateau, scree, meadows, forests and terraced vineyards before reaching Vers-l’Église. The Hauts de Fully network of trails was created for a wide audience and for families.

A hike through the Follatères nature reserve follows dry, sunny paths and offers views over the Rhône Valley. For the hike from the Follatères to Fully, regular train services run to Martigny, followed by a bus to Dorénaz; from the destination, buses run towards Martigny or Sion.

Cycling

The Jeur-Brûlée mountain bike route reaches Fully’s highest hamlet at an altitude of 1,525 metres. It crosses the Follatères nature reserve and offers views of the Rhône plain and the surrounding peaks.

Fully Bike Park offers several levels of difficulty, with jumps, balance modules, berms and jumps of different sizes.

Culture

La Maison de la Petite Arvine displays a fresco by Pierre Faval depicting Fully’s wine-growing history. The facilities include a wine library, wines from Fully, local terroir products, a workshop space and local specialities served as snacks.

Fol’terres presents wines and local products from 100 winegrowers and 40 producers.
