History
The first church in Adligenswil was built in 1605 next to what is now the sexton's house. St. Martin was consecrated in 1831 and built on a low hill in the village centre in keeping with the late-Baroque rural church tradition. Historical information panels can be found at 17 locations.
Culture
St. Martin's Church is open to the public every day. It is available for concerts, funerals, baptisms and weddings.
The Old Mill is considered worthy of preservation and has been retained in its existing form. A new water wheel was installed and put into operation there in 2019. The mill bakery is also still in operation: it sells bread directly at the mill or delivers it by horse-drawn cart.

Nature
Nearby, the Rieder in the Meggerwald forest and the Moos area were designated nature reserves in 1969. The Wagemoos pond is also located nearby in the Meggerwald forest. There are opportunities to observe amphibians and dragonflies there and discover orchids in the surrounding wetlands.
