The PR-TE 123–GR 10 connection is signposted in both walking directions. On GR-10 Stage 03 to Camarena de la Sierra, the final section follows the RĂo Camarena river trail to the town. The GR 10 follows the RĂo Camarena river trail to the Amanaderos de Riodeva; from Molino Montereta, the PR-TE 123 runs through the Riodeva or Los Ramos valley to the Ermita de San Pablo at an altitude of 1,750 metres. After descending at the Fuente de MosĂ©n JosĂ©, GR-8 Stage 16 reaches the urban area of Camarena de la Sierra via the road.
A round-trip hike of more than six hours and 21 kilometres passes the Fuente de Matahombres picnic area; near the picnic area at the Fuente de la Miel lies the Fuente del Peguero, where the excursion ends. Nature
Numerous springs rise in the municipality of Camarena de la Sierra; this is why the town is known as “pueblo de las cien fuentes” – the village of a hundred springs. The Amanaderos waterfall in the gorge of the same name is one of the featured sights of Camarena de la Sierra. Mount Javalambre is located in the vicinity of Camarena de la Sierra, as is the Cerro Calderón peak.

Culture
The Baroque single-nave parish church of San Mateo is the most important building in Camarena de la Sierra; the year 1677 is inscribed on its west wall. It has a Baroque interior decorated with sgraffiti depicting angels and plant motifs.
