Most of the frescoes in Ljubno were created over the past twenty years by the Russian artists Maša Bersan Mašuk and Nikolaj Aleksandrovič Mašuk. The memory of the Ljubno bowls is also still alive today. The more recent history of the town also includes the fact that a local trade came to a standstill in the 20th century.
