Bled Island can be reached by Pletna boat all year round. This is a handmade wooden boat rowed standing up by a Pletnar. Island and lake
The viewing bell tower on Bled Island offers views of the lake, the shore and the surrounding peaks. The tower houses a restored clock. The Southern Stone Staircase leads uphill from the south to the central part of the island and has 99 steps.
At the Potičnica on Bled Island, you can taste, buy or order poticas with a variety of fillings and flavours. The Potičnica also offers ethnological creative activities focused on the traditional preparation and baking of Slovenian potica.
Culture
The Triglavska roža Info Centre in Bled has a permanent multimedia exhibition entitled “Raj pod Triglavom”. It hosts various events and workshops and presents temporary exhibitions.
The museum at Bled Castle presents the historical development of Bled, its culture and its inhabitants. At Bled Castle, visitors can also learn about traditional craft printing techniques and print a souvenir certificate themselves.
The interior of the Church of St Martin was painted with frescoes by Slavko Pengov from 1932 to 1937. At the Church of St Martin, visitors can attend religious services and occasional concerts.

Grajsko kopališče Bled offers a 260-metre-long, well-maintained lakeshore with, among other features, a water slide, diving board, floating rafts and designated pools of varying depths. The facilities also include children's play equipment, a sandbox, kayaks, table tennis, board games and shaded rest areas.
