Culture and history
Lasówka has a local church dedicated to Saint Anthony. A historical glassmaking tradition also developed here: in 1612, a glassworks was built that used wood from the nearby Imperial Forest.
At the beginning of the 17th century, a steelworks and a school were built in Lasówka. The steelworks was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War and resumed operations in 1656 under Adam Peterhansel.
