The Geokulturpfad is a 30-kilometre circular route. You can explore it in stages or complete the whole route on foot or by bicycle; it is also integrated into the existing network of hiking trails. This lets you choose between a single stage and the full loop depending on how far you want to go. The Flößerweg has a different focus: it follows the Isar through Bad Tölz and connects local history, nature and craftsmanship. Information boards, interactive stations and original sites invite you to explore these subjects right along the way.

For a quieter break, Gabriel-von-Seidl-Kurpark offers a pond, expansive lawns and mature trees. These park features are quite different from the Flößerweg’s themed stops or the longer distances of the Geokulturpfad. Depending on whether you would prefer a park, a route shaped by cultural history or a longer loop, Bad Tölz offers different options to include in your plans.

More Routes in the Wider Destination

Beyond Bad Tölz, the wider destination of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen offers further options that are specifically regional. The Heilklimapark Tölzer Land comprises 37 routes on a network of more than 340 kilometres between Bad Heilbrunn, Bad Tölz, Kochel am See, Wackersberg and Lenggries. The Tölzer Land hiking offer also includes six signposted Nordic walking routes ranging from two to 8.6 kilometres. These details describe the wider destination, not just what is available within the town of Bad Tölz; the number of routes may change and should be checked when planning your trip.

Individual routes in other places across the wider destination also vary in length and character. The Loisachweg is an easy 3.34-kilometre walk through Wolfratshausen; the stated walking time is 49 minutes. The MeinBankerl-Weg also starts in Wolfratshausen’s old town and leads to filming locations for the series “Hubert und/ohne Staller” over a distance of about six kilometres; alternatively, there is a shortened route of about four kilometres. These two examples give different route lengths to consider for regional outings, but they are routes in Wolfratshausen, not routes through Bad Tölz.
