Geographical Location
Ammerland, Holzhausen, Ambach, and St. Heinrich are located directly on the eastern shore of Lake Starnberg. The village of Münsing itself is two kilometers from the lake’s eastern shore.
The municipality extends from the shore of Lake Starnberg for approximately 15 kilometers to the Münsing Ridge between the lake and the Isar Valley and also includes the western Tischberg.
