Saint-Jean-De-Maurienne: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture

The cloister of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral was built from 1450 onwards, replacing an older cloister mentioned in a document dating from 1211. It has been classified as a historic monument since 1899. It is located between the cathedral and the canons' refectory.

A guided tour of the cathedral takes you through the choir with its Gothic choir stalls, the side aisles and chapels, as well as the cloister leading to the crypt.

Museums

The Musée des Costumes, Arts et Traditions Populaires is located in the former bishop's palace.
