The Musée Saint-Jean is located in the preserved choir of the 15th-century Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, which was restored in 1984, and houses a permanent exhibition on everyday life in Savoy from 1850 to 1950. The choir stalls in the Église des Carmes in La Rochette have been classified as protected movable cultural heritage since 25 February 1952.

The circular route Le tour de Presle connects the hamlets of Presle and old paths across meadows and through forests. Above the Vallée des Huiles, it offers open views of the rural landscape of Savoy.

The Valgelon-La Rochette landing site is an FFVL landing area with number 73A008B. It is accessed via the Chemin de la Plaine towards the campsite, near a small lake.
Local Life
The Grand marché hebdomadaire de La Rochette takes place on Wednesday mornings and has been held in the canton for more than 700 years. Depending on the season, the market has between 80 and 100 exhibitors, including vendors of food and regional products.
